Pekingese is a compact toy companion for all whether adults, children, or elders. Ruling classes of ancient china created this breed, one can estimate how expensive Pekingese was at that time. Pekingese coat is longest at neck and shoulders like Lion, the small lion. Pekingese has short-muzzled head wider than long, Rectangle, eyes are large and dark sparkly rolling gait that gives unique look to Pekingese.     Description

    There is a myth about Pekingese, people say the breed was created by the Buddha, who shrunk the lion down to dog size like Pekingese has hair around the neck. It was a royal breed among the flat-faced lapdogs the peke, pug, and Shih Tzu. a person gets death punishment for stealing them. west knew about Pekingese in 1860 when British troops came during the Opium Wars. royal family kill their peke instead of going them in enemy’s hand. but as how Britishers managed to get 5 peke and gifted to Queen Victoria. late 1890 pekes arrived in America and AKC registered it in 1906. six years later breed came into the headlines a Pekingese was one of only three dogs to survive the sinking of the titanic. The ancient breed was referred the lion dog. the breed was not exhibited in England until late 1900, found the traces from 8th century punishable to death who stole Pekingese.
