Behaviour & Temperament
Shih Tzus are affectionate, playful, outgoing, and adaptable. They are gentle with children and generally friendly with strangers and other pets. Unlike many small breeds, they are not typically yappy or aggressive. They form very strong bonds with their owners and prefer to be involved in all family activities. Low exercise needs — short daily walks suffice.
